Sismo – Music Video
As a Communications major you are required to take upper level Comm classes, any 300 or 400 class. My senior year at SJU I took a Comm 400 class; Advanced Web, Audio, and Video Production. This music video was created by myself and two of my classmates as our final project for our class. Sismo is an original song written by, Mario Rodriguez, and we tried to follow his inspirations while creating the video. (I filmed and edited this video.)
The DePaul Catholic School: Thank You, Teachers!
As a Communications major you are required to take upper level Comm classes, any 300 or 400 class. My senior year at SJU I took a Comm 400 class; Advanced Web, Audio, and Video Production. We were asked by woman who works at The DePaul Catholic School to create a video thanking a few of the teachers who had been working at DePaul for years and made a difference in the learning community. This was our final produce. (I edited this video.)
Hey Frase Live Show at DC Improv: June 2016
Hey Frase is a local podcast in Washington, D.C. It was created by Sarah Fraser and her co-worker, Samy K. The two sometimes preform at D.C. Improv, a comedy club in DuPont Circle.
I spent my summer interning for Ms. Fraser, creating and producing pictures, tweets, and videos to advertise her podcast. It was a great experience creating multimedia which I hope to find a career in. (I filmed and edited this video.)
I spent a summer in Washington, D.C. taking two classes and completing an internship. We had weekends off to explore D.C. on our own. One weekend I stumbled into a small art gallery where these two men were playing jazz music. I sat for at least two hours listening to their beautiful music.
The two men would ask the audience how a painting in the room made them feel. Once the audience responded with a few emotions, the men would start to play. Everything was completely improvised. It was incredible. (I filmed and edited this video.)
Beauty in New Zealand
During my studies at Saint Joseph’s University, I have had many opportunities to study abroad. My junior year, I had the chance to study in New Zealand for ten days. The objective of the class was to create 4 videos, 3 group and one individual. This was my individual video, my take away from New Zealand. Everyone else did an action video, but New Zealand for me was a beautiful, calming place, and I wanted my video to reflect that. (I filmed and edited this video.)
